For our final night of vacation, we wanted to do something special. Both my husband and I adore craft cocktails so thought we’d start our night off at Yardbirds. They had an amazing bartender who had done some great Bourbon infusions such as salted caramel and pineapple. Dinner later was at the Mondrian, a beautiful whimsical hotel that rivaled the hotel we were staying at (Delano) in design.
I wanted to wear something that conjured Miami nightlife, so chose this bright feather patterned dress that I picked up at a Miami boutique last year. I paired it with bright blue feather earrings and my white Donald Pliner shoes.
The shoes were a recent conquest on the Boston Store website. I had been eyeing them up all season in store as they seemed perfect for our Miami trip, but at $375 I decided to hold off. I was able to get the sale price linked above ($84) which made them more than worth it. They’re Italian and engineered to support your foot so the pencil thin heel isn’t really much of an issue. Another neat feature was that the single piece of leather that ran across the top was able to be slightly adjusted to accommodate my high arches.
Goodbye Miami and look forward to seeing you again next year!
