Fashion’s Night Out Milwaukee 2012 Highlights

Per the CFDA website  – “Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy. In the United States, the program, which was created in 2009,  is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York.”

Last year, I sat on my couch and watched the New York celebration on TV.  This year Milwaukee had it’s own FNO celebration and I was excited to take part.  There were celebrations all over the city and surrounding areas, but my time was mainly spent in Milwaukee’s third ward.

There were all kinds of fun people out and about and I managed to capture some here.  If you see yourself in a picture, please go to the Barely Practical Facebook page and tag yourself.

The manager of Bangles & Bags. Love the great print on her dress!
The multi-colored ring I picked up from Bangles & Bags for only $16.
One of the best pop-up stores of the night was the Boston Store pop-up. Besides the great clothing selection there were also tasty horderves.
One of my favorite looks of the evening. Loved her whole look, especially the hat.
Lisa Gibb and her associate at the J. Hilburn pop-up shop
Catherine at The Aveda Institute of Beatuy & Wellness. She makes her own headpieces! Looks like it would be perfect for the 20s themed RunUp Milwaukee event coming up.
These two beautiful ladies were at the Jessica Szohr pop-up.  The sunset colored fringe was really fun.
