Facebook – Don’t Just Like Me, Be Interested

I admit it. I spend way more time on Facebook than I should. However, I still seem to miss posts from some of my favorite designers and brands. There are some pages that I had forgotten I’d even liked because I hadn’t seen a post in months.

Turns out that Facebook, in an attempt to generate some income, has throttled back posts from pages. In general, you’re only seeing about 6-10% of the posts from the pages you’ve liked. So what’s a fashionista to do? It seems like one solution for this is Facebook’s interest lists.

You may have seen posts from boutiques asking you to add their page to an interest list. You can certainly do that, but I thought I’d help you out with a couple premade lists to get you started. All you have to do is click on the links below to subscribe. Interest lists can be public so you don’t need to be friends with someone to subscribe.

Subscribing to an interest list will show you the content from these pages in your regular feed, but you can also view them as a seperate feed as well.

I created several lists you can subscribe to my clicking on the links below:

Milwaukee has a vibrant fashion scene, but it’s hard to know what events are actually happening or what designers or boutiques exist because everything is spread out.  I’ve already added many pages to my Milwaukee list, but I’m sure there are more out there. If you know any pages I’ve missed please share them in the comment section below – with your help we can make this list into a fantastic, continually growing resource for everyone with interest in Milwaukee fashion!
