Last weekend I attended Gallery night at the Pfister Hotel and stayed for the fashion show Alexis Rose styled for designer Timothy Westbrook. The Pfister Hotel’s rich details presented the perfect backdrop for a style shoot so we grabbed a couple of extra photos to highlight my outfit.
Timothy’s work is done with recycled materials so if felt wrong to go out and buy a new outfit for the show. My compromise was to shop my closet and put together a look from things I already owned.
I started with a simple electric blue dress that I picked up from The Limited last year and added on a great statement necklace that I picked up from Macy’s last fall.

I stayed with the electric blue theme and added on my negative heel pumps that I picked up from Aldo in New York last summer and a BCBG clutch that also came from Macy’s. Most of the bangles came from H&M, but the thicker silver bracelet below on the right and the ring came from my most recent Wantable accessory box.

Can I use a cliche? Ok I’m going to – those blue shoes are MAJOR. I love this outfit, and I love that you rocked those shoes!
Thanks! I really do love those shoes and its been fun finding events and new outfits to wear them with
I love these shoes, Corleen! I’ve seen this style before but they kinda intimidate me. Ya know? You look great!
Thanks Ana! They actually are easy to walk in. It’s basically like wearing a wedge.
You look great.. love the necklace and the shoes.
