I received a $25 gift card in my Lucky FABB gift bag for ModCloth.com so decided to give them a try. I found ModCloth to be a really interesting site with vintage inspired fashion and, most importantly, a huge collection of indie designers at easily affordable price points. The shopping experience was intuitive and they are very community focused so it was easy to find reviews of items.
I love a great statement shoe and the Proudly Posh Heel from California-based footwear designer T.U.K called to me. The painted peacock feather and teal colored heels were beautiful details that made the shoes stand out. At a modest $54.99 price point, I wasn’t expecting a lot, but was pleasantly surprised to find some padding in the insole and a no-slip rubber bottom. The 2.5 inch heel makes them easy to walk in and fairly comfortable.
They ran slightly big which was great for my wider feet, but were too long. I seem to have problems with pumps as my feet tend to slip out of the back and with the slightly larger size, these unfortunately just didn’t work for me.
The Proudly Posh Heel also comes in a pretty mint base with a pink heel. If ModCloth is out of your size I added a color of similar styles below.
