Saturday Shoe Sales 1-11-14

Welcome to another edition of Saturday Shoe Sales! January is an amazing time of year for deals. Store were all heavily stocked for the holidays and now want to clear out everything that’s left to make room for spring. As January goes on, it gets a little more difficult to find sizes as things get picked over, but if you do a little digging you can fill your closet with some amazing shoes that will be great season after season. Another great use of sales is trying out something that’s a little trendier. There’s still a good couple of months left to wear winter styles and if you think you may not wear the shoes next season, may as well get them for 60% off.

My picks for this week focus on booties. Enjoy and happy shopping!

 Designer Deals

The floral Vivienne Westwood booties above immediately caught my eye on Their lady-like style would be stunning with the right dress at the office. They also look to have a hidden platform which takes some pressure away from the high heel. A beautiful addition to your shoe closet for spring and summer this year for only $110.78 (originally $260).

These Rodarte ankle boots were love at first site. The cone shaped lucite heel gives a little more stability than a stiletto and the hidden platform will take some pressure off the ball of your foot. The neutral color will make them easy to wear with just about anything and the lucite heel and cutouts give them the perfect cool factor. You’ll see I found quite a few deals on this time around and they have a 20 day return policy so you don’t have to worry about sale restrictions. That works out well as they booties are an amazing buy at $395 (originally $1025).

These Missoni boots are another great neutral buy. I feel like many of the Missoni prints aren’t for me, but I love the simple neutral stripe on these booties. The light fabric outside and dark wooden heels will go perfectly into spring. Another great deal on right now for $280 (originally $702).

Neutrals are great, but sometimes you need a pop of color. These Ballin ankle boots come in a rainbow of bright colors to offset a dull winter day. Based on the pictures it looks like the fuzzy cuff can be adjusted to different heights. Also on sale on for $255 (originally $568).

 Beautiful Bargains (under $100)

My first pick in the under $100 category goes to these Guess  mesh booties. Super sexy – they would easily work with a more casual military inspired outfit, but I believe the mesh allows them to go in a fun, flirty direction as well. I can easily picture them as a neutral balance to the perfect print dress. has a great selection of Guess boots right now all under $100.

My final pick for today is all about the details. These G.J.L booties have a gorgeous fold over cuff with metallic trim. They’d elevate any outfit to instant rock-star status. They also have a small platform to offset the spiked heels for some added comfort. They just squeaked into my under $100 category at $98.

One last note for my email subscribers. I’m once again playing with some new widgets so bare with me if the pictures don’t show up in email. If that’s the case, simply click on the link to read the full post on the blog.
