I’ve been a fan of Wantable for a while now, and if you’ve been reading my blog you’ve probably seen quite a few posts featuring Wantable merchandise and reviews. I’ve come to know some of the people from seeing them at shows in the Milwaukee area and I have a lot of respect for the company. So when I was at Lucky FABB in NYC last fall and ran into Jaclyn, their social media manager, I was of course excited by her offer to try out their new Intimates box for free.
The beauty of Wantable is their customized ordering process. I was able to tailor my box to only focus on the perfect shoe accessories – socks and hosiery.
I was thrilled with the socks. They’re soft, warm, and I really like the patterns. Since cute socks and sandals or pumps are on trend right now, I’ll see if I can use them to help winterize some of my summer shoes. I also liked the tights, but admittedly the thigh-highs aren’t me. There are so many custom questions for the box, I hope they add one to help differentiate between full tights and thigh-highs.
I know that Wantable has changed their packaging since I’ve received this to a sleek black box. I was fine with the white box, but felt the inner packaging was a little lacking. I’m used to shopping for intimates and having them come nicely wrapped in tissue paper. While I realize there was nothing fragile in the box and maybe I should be happy they saved on paper, there’s still something special about getting a package that feels nicely put together versus a couple of items pulled from a warehouse and thrown in a box.
So maybe the packaging was lackluster and thigh-highs aren’t really my thing, but overall I’m still very pleased with Wantable’s products. I really love the socks, and continue to look forward to seeing what Wantable comes up with next.
