This week’s Saturday Shoe Sales post focuses on florals. It’s March now, and I have to keep hoping there’s an end in sight to the constant arctic temperatures and snow. My first sign of hope for warmer weather each year is seeing the first buds of spring tulips start to peek out. So what better way to lift the spirits than to add a little floral to your wardrobe?
Today’s picks come from a variety of places so I’ll highlight each one as we go. Let’s start with the Wood Wood Thelma floral print boot. I immediately fell for the offset block heel, and the elastic bands on the side should make them easy to pull on. The muted colors will look great with jeans or a soft pastel skirt. They’re on sale for $244.65 (from $461.07) on Asos.com. Asos offers free shipping both ways so you don’t have to worry about paying extra if you need to return them.
Next up are these Gienchi floral high tops. While they’re floral, there’s nothing sweet and ladylike about them. Covered in gold studs with a distressed leather toe and laces, they definitely have attitude. They’re currently marked down 40% to $231.62 at FarFetch.com. If you’ve never been to FarFetch, it’s a beautiful site that bring together fashion from small boutiques across the world. Items ship directly from the boutiques for free (in the US) and there are also free returns. These shoes came from a boutique in Italy called Eraldo which carries some other beautiful items.
Another great FarFetch sale find are these Swear Charlotte floral shoes. The striking colors caught my eye and the low heel would be great for a full day of shopping. Currently from a boutique in London called Swear, they’re on sale for $109.50 (50% off).
Next up are these beautiful Kate Spade Ila silk sandals. Bright and pretty, they’re sure to make you smile when you first put them on, and they’ll keep you smiling throughout the day thanks to the stability of their block heels. They’re currently $196.99 (40% off) at 6pm.com. 6pm, is a discount site and you can get some really great deals. They offer free shipping, but you’re in responsible for shipping charges if they need to go back.
Unfortunately, it’s still snowy and slushy here and boots will be in order for a while. I wouldn’t make these your overall snow boots, but they’d be great for those days when you don’t want to wear your good shoes to walk through the snow. These Back in Blooms boots are a breath of fresh air from all of the drab winter boots that we usually see. On sale for $27.99 at Modcloth, they’re easy on your wallet too. If you’re new to ModCloth, you can find out a little more about them in one of my recent reviews of their T.U.K Proudly Posh Heel.
Last, but not least is the Miista Iris floral ankle boot. I currently have a pair of Miista boots that I love (blog review to come soon) and the sensuous purple floral pattern on these ankle boots called out to me as well. The elastic sides should make them easy to pull on. They’re currently on sale at Urban Outfitters for $124.99 (originally $246).
